Bonne Amie $4,900 CDN (+ GST to Canadian Residents
only)16.2 hh, dark brown, 2002 Canadian Warmblood mare by Bajazzo,
out of CW Inspected TB mare. Ground sweeping trot and fancy hunt
canter on this very attractive and eye catching horse. Although
very much suited to a hunter career, she could easily be competitive
in the dressage ring. Bonne Amie has a wonderful, intelligent character,
is willing to please and has a bold and trusting temperament. She
has seen her first season in the show ring, going on 2 foot to two
foot 6 courses with confidence and style. She has a very nice rhythm,
cadence and presence. Changes are becoming well established, and
natural to her. She continues to develop and demonstrate her aptitude
for the show ring, calm and sensible in the ring with a presence
that catches the judges eye. She is a pleasure to take to
shows.
Dam Line: Her dam Holy Raquel, who went back to Bold Ruler Bloodlines,
stood 16 hh, was a eye catching, inspected Canadian Warmblood TB mare,
dark brown/almost black, and stood 16.1hh. She loved to jump and produced
nice hunter types, whose competative career was cut short due to injuries
sustained on the racetrack.
Sire Line: Bonne Amie's sire, Bajazzo, stood at 16.3hh. He was 100
day tested in Germany, and is registered with both Oldenberg and Canadian
Warmblood. Unfortunately, he is now deceased, but has left a number
of A circuit competitive hunters across Canada and the US,
including the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. BAJAZZO successfully completed
the Stallion Test in 1983, receiving his highest marks for character,
trainability, jumping, trot and especially walk. Shortly after he was
sold through the prestigious PSI SALE to an amateur owner under
whom he was competed successfully in all three disciplines, three day
event, jumping and dressage. BAJAZZO was been used very sparingly as
a sire in Europe, due to his previous owners' competitive activities.
Inspite of this he has already had one son, Bellini, who followed in
his footsteps to the PSI SALE, Nov. 29, 1992, selling as a top dressage
prospect. He was then imported to Canada to continue his breeding career,
where he continued to pass on his fantastic temperament, rideabilty
and athletic ability.
Bonne Amie's Offspring:
Bonnie Amie has had a very correct and attractive foal by Overo Paint
Stallion, Mr. Faceman. She produced a flashy coloured colt, handsome
with a sensible temperament. |
